A medium bodied red, this edition of our Morning Glass blend has a ripe raspberry, cherry, and blackberry orientation. Layered with the fruit is a nice bramble and mezcal combination, and slight hint of anise on the finish. There is noticeable tannin, but the structure is smooth from beginning to end. Finish is medium.
Vineyard Notes
Sonoma County is a diverse terroir featuring coastal and inland meso and microclimates. The Pacific Ocean and its moderating impact on climate lies to the west and the Mayacamas mountain range lies to the east. Eons of volcanic activity, river flow erosion, and the constant shifting and collisions of the Pacific and North American tectonic plates and its effect on soil composition, Sonoma County has been blessed with an abundance of near perfect winegrowing sites. Coupled with the human element and Sonoma’s culture of growing world class wine, it truly is a special terroir.
